Artificial intelligence is the intelligence layer of ENNEAX — carried by Cloud 9ine AI, Cloud Agents and the AI capability embedded across every company in the group. These principles guide how we design, build and deploy that AI.
AI agents take on defined work, but people remain accountable. Important decisions affecting individuals — hiring, finance, healthcare, education outcomes — keep meaningful human review.
Our AI is designed around African users, languages and realities, including English, Shona and Ndebele. Context is not an afterthought; it is the design brief.
We are clear about when users are interacting with AI, what an AI system can and cannot do, and the limits of its knowledge. We do not present AI output as infallible.
AI systems collect and use the minimum data required for their task. Customer data is not used to train shared models without agreement. Our data protection commitments apply to every AI deployment.
We work to identify and reduce bias in training data and system behaviour, and we test systems against the diverse users they serve before and after deployment.
AI systems are protected against misuse, prompt injection and unauthorised access, and are deployed with safeguards appropriate to the risk of the role they perform.
Every AI product has an owner responsible for its behaviour, performance and compliance with these principles. Issues raised by users are investigated and corrected.
Responsible AI is a discipline, not a certificate. As the group's AI capability grows, these principles will be reviewed, enforced and expanded.
